She discussed her close bond with Captain Jason Chambers and how he has become like a “fourth stew” to her on the boat. Aesha revealed that Jason is incredibly supportive and goes above and beyond to help her, even doing her dishes and emptying her bins. In fact, she even helps him with his contact lenses. This surprising revelation came to light in the Season 2 premiere when Jason called Aesha to his cabin as the crew was starting their day. Aesha successfully assisted him in putting in his contacts, much to the amusement of the rest of the crew. Following the premiere, Aesha and Jason appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where Aesha jokingly mentioned Jason’s struggle with putting in contacts. Despite the challenges, Aesha continues to help him with this task, showcasing their unique bond on Below Deck Down Under.
