In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Aesha Scott opened up about Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under and her close relationship with Captain Jason Chambers. She described him as not only her captain but also her friend, even going as far as calling him her “fourth stew” on the boat. Aesha shared how supportive Jason is, always helping with chores like doing her dishes and emptying her bins. But what surprised everyone was when she mentioned that she helps Jason put in his contact lenses.
In the Season 2 premiere, Jason called Aesha to his cabin while the crew was getting ready for the day. Aesha hilariously exclaimed, “So jealous!” as she made her way to the captain’s cabin. When she arrived, Jason was struggling to put in his contacts and asked Aesha for help. Surprised but willing, Aesha successfully assisted him, and Jason was ready for the first charter guests.
Following the premiere, Aesha and Jason appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to discuss the season. During a game, Aesha was tasked with revealing one of Jason’s “grossest” habits. She jokingly mentioned that he doesn’t know how to put in contacts and suggested he work on self-growth in that area. Andy Cohen questioned Jason about it, expressing his surprise at letting someone else put in his contacts. Jason explained that he struggles with the left one and often drops them in the sink, making them expensive to replace. Aesha playfully responded, “I’m a capable woman, what can I say?”
