In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Aesha Scott opened up about Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under and her close connection with Captain Jason Chambers. According to Aesha, Jason is not only her captain but also her friend. She even jokingly referred to him as her “fourth stew” on the boat. Aesha revealed that Jason supports her a lot and is always helping her with chores like doing dishes and emptying bins. In fact, she even helps him with his contact lenses by putting them in for him in the morning. Aesha described their relationship as a really supportive unit.
In the Season 2 premiere, viewers witnessed Jason calling Aesha to his cabin as the crew was starting their day. Aesha hilariously made her way to the captain’s cabin while chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph expressed her jealousy. When Aesha arrived, Jason was struggling to put in his contacts and asked for her help. Aesha gladly assisted him and successfully got the lens in his eye.
Following the premiere, Aesha and Jason appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. During the show, Aesha revealed that Jason’s inability to put in contacts is one of his “grossest” habits. Andy Cohen questioned why Jason relies on Aesha to do it for him, to which Jason explained that he struggles with the left one and often drops them in the sink. Aesha humorously declared herself as a capable woman who can handle the task.
