OWNDAYS has introduced their latest addition to the Clear Vision range, Clear Vision Advance. These lenses are designed to provide enhanced comfort and protection for wearers.
Clear Vision lenses are enriched with moisture-retaining hyaluronic acid, ensuring up to eight hours of comfortable wear. This compound helps to retain water, minimize tear evaporation, reduce protein absorption on the ocular surface, and promote uninterrupted blinking. Mr Toh, a representative from OWNDAYS, explained the benefits of these lenses in maintaining eye health.
In addition to their moisture-retaining properties, Clear Vision lenses also offer UV protection. They can block 80% of UVA rays and 95% of UVB rays. This is particularly important in sunny climates like Singapore, where prolonged sun exposure can increase the risk of conditions such as cataracts, macular degeneration, and pterygium. Mr Toh emphasized the importance of taking proactive measures to protect eye health.
The Clear Vision range has now expanded to include Clear Vision Advance. These lenses are notable for their improved oxygen permeability due to their composition. The silicone hydrogel material allows for enhanced oxygen delivery to the cornea compared to traditional hydrogel lenses. This promotes corneal health and reduces the risk of complications such as corneal swelling and ulcers.
Clear Vision Advance also features a hydrophilic hydrogel coating that helps reduce protein deposits, minimizing the potential for eye irritation. The moisture-rich environment created by this coating maintains a smooth lens surface that discourages the adhesion of deposits. This makes Clear Vision Advance an ideal choice for individuals with dry or sensitive eyes. Additionally, these lenses offer enhanced tensile strength, providing increased resistance to chipping and tearing.
OWNDAYS is committed to providing innovative solutions for eye care. With the introduction of Clear Vision Advance, they continue to prioritize comfort, protection, and overall eye health for their customers.
Another area of concern for eye health is blue light exposure. Managing this exposure is crucial in today’s digital age.
